Doing Business with NAWM

The mission of the National Association of Wetland Managers (NAWM) is to build capacity for state and tribal members and foster collaboration among the wetland community of practice by encouraging the application of sound science to wetland management and policy, promoting the protection and restoration of wetlands and related aquatic resources, and providing training and education for members and the general public.

NAWM has experience working and collaborating with federal agencies, states, Tribes, local governments, universities, private businesses and other non-governmental organizations. Building on over forty years of experience supporting state and tribal wetland programs, we can create a work plan customized to your needs and interests and deliver high-quality programming and policy support. NAWM is available to work with you on the following types of projects:

  • Policy and Program Development: Program review and analysis, policy recommendations and frameworks, literature reviews, report development, stakeholder education
  • Workgroup Support: Scheduling, coordinating, facilitating, note taking, agenda development, recording and editing, reporting
  • Webinars: Planning, promotion, logistics, hosting, recording and editing, moderating
  • Meetings and workshops: Planning, agenda development, promotion, logistics, contract negotiations, hosting, facilitating, moderating, recording and editing
  • Research: Online and literature reviews, development of white papers and reports, in-depth analysis, study design, collecting and analyzing data, interpreting findings, and communicating results
