Climate Change History

South Dakota currently has no climate action plan. The State has taken some action to develop a voluntary renewable energy portfolio but has not identified climate change as an area of concern that requires state action. The Prairie Pothole Joint Venture and Plains and Prairie Potholes Landscape Conservation Cooperative (PPP LCC) developed high-resolution climate model projections to inform waterfowl and migratory bird management in eastern South Dakota. http://www.plainsandprairiepotholeslcc.org/
