Climate Change History

Louisiana, as a state, has not formally acknowledged that climate change is occurring.  There are no plans or activities linked directly to Climate Change in Louisiana.

Current & Future Action

Louisiana is currently to engaged in extensive coastal restoration efforts.

Pilot Programs/Current Studies

The state does not, as yet, have any specific pilots or case studies dealing with wetlands and climate change.
